No Changes In FIFA World Ranking Because Of Coronavirus
The absence of international matches since the last update of the world ranking, 9th April, means there is no change at all.
COVID-19 has made football stop. Little by little, competitions are returning, but the FIFA ranking has remained the same from the previous occasion.
Although club football is slowly restarting in various leagues around the world, COVID-19 continues to be an obstacle for the organisation of international matches.
Belgium remain top ahead of France and Brazil, while England and Uruguay are 4th and 5th respectively. Lurking behind them in descending order are Croatia, Portugal, Spain, Argentina, and Colombia.
The next FIFA rankings are published on 16th July. We will have to see if, by then, there are any changes.
